Classroom Policies and Procedures
While in my class I expect my students to abide by all school rules as well as my class rules which are as follows:

- Seated at the bell: This means at the sound of the bell my students are in their assigned seats with their materials out ready to work.
Positive attitude: My students should encourage fellow classmates to participate and set a positive example.
One voice: At all times, unless otherwise stated, there will only be one person talking and hands must be raised to be called upon.
Respect others: I have zero tolerance for disrespect. Treat others the way you would want to be treated.
Timeliness: This goes for both being on time to class and managing class time to complete assigned work.

A 100 - 90
B 89 - 80
C 79 - 70
D 69 - 60
F 59 - 0
Category Breakdown:
Tests: 35%
Quizzes: 25%
Classwork: 20%
Projects 20%
Late Work: All students are expected to make up work missed for any reason. Late work will be graded and 10 points will be deducted from the grade earned for each day it is late, up to five (5) days. Late work submitted after this time frame will receive half-credit (50%) of the grade earned.
Make-Up Work: All students are expected to make up work missed during an absence. For absences due to (a) illness of student, (b) illness of an immediate family member, (c) death in the family, the absence is excused hence full credit will be awarded as long as the student makes up the work during the appropriate time frame. A student has TWO days to make up the work for each day the student is absent, not including the day of return.
